About the Event

Redeemer Vietnamese Baptist Church is proud to host the event 'Make a Statement: a forum on the ELCA, Women, & Justice'. This event aims to bring together individuals passionate about social justice and the empowerment of women within the context of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA).

Join us on August 7th, 2018, as we delve deep into important topics, foster meaningful conversations, and explore the intersectionality of ELCA, women, and justice. Our aim is to create a safe and inclusive space where individuals can share their insights and learn from one another.

Forum Topics

Inclusive Leadership within the ELCA

The forum will begin with a discussion on the need for inclusive leadership within the ELCA. We will explore the importance of diverse representation, both in terms of gender and ethnicity, in shaping a more equitable and inclusive church community.
