About Redeemer Vietnamese Baptist Church

Welcome to Redeemer Vietnamese Baptist Church! As a vibrant and diverse community of faith, we are dedicated to spreading the teachings of Jesus Christ and fostering a strong sense of belonging for individuals and families alike. Our FC Beliefs page serves as a hub to explore and understand the core beliefs that underpin our church's mission, vision, and values.

Our Commitment to Faith

At Redeemer Vietnamese Baptist Church, we place a firm emphasis on faith in God and the transformative power it holds. Our belief in the Holy Trinity, consisting of God the Father, Jesus Christ the Son, and the Holy Spirit, guides our relationship with Him and with one another. We center our actions, teachings, and ministries around the teachings of the Bible, which serves as our ultimate source of spiritual wisdom and direction.

Core Values

Within our commitment to faith, we uphold several core values:

  • Biblical Authority: We believe in the infallibility and authority of the Bible as God's written word.
  • Worship: We celebrate God's presence through heartfelt worship, incorporating music, prayer, and other forms of collective expression.
  • Discipleship: We strive to become more Christ-like through personal spiritual growth and active discipleship.
  • Community: We foster a loving and inclusive community where everyone feels valued, accepted, and supported.
  • Mission: We carry out the Great Commission by actively spreading the Gospel and engaging in meaningful outreach.
  • Service: We serve others with compassion, seeking to address the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of our local and global communities.

Understanding Our Beliefs

Our beliefs shape our identity as a church and guide our actions. We believe in salvation through faith in Jesus Christ, who offered Himself as a sacrifice for the sins of humanity. This precious gift of salvation is available to all who accept and believe in Him.

Salvation and Baptism

We believe that salvation is a personal choice. Through faith in Jesus, we receive forgiveness, eternal life, and restoration of our relationship with God. Baptism is an important public declaration of one's faith and the acceptance of Jesus as Lord and Savior.

The Church Body

As part of the larger body of Christ, the church, we believe in unity and actively promote fellowship, love, and holistic spiritual growth. We encourage every member to discover and utilize their God-given gifts and talents for the benefit of the church and the extension of His kingdom.

Eschatology

Our beliefs encompass an understanding of the future and the eternal nature of our souls. We believe in the second coming of Jesus Christ, the resurrection of the dead, and the ultimate judgement that will determine the eternal destinies of all individuals.
